Dentex / MRC Couplings
Description
DENTEX couplings are flexible shaft connections capable of compensating for axial, radial, and angular shaft misalignment. The torque is transmitted solidly through two interlocking congruent hubs, with spherical teeth integrated into a synthetic bushing with internal teeth.
The design of these flexible couplings has the property of protecting the bearings from uncontrolled forces that may occur in them. Thanks to the double cardan effect, the recoil forces created during angular and radial deformations can be disregarded, thus also preventing periodic oscillations in angular velocity.
DENTEX couplings
- Suitable for horizontal or vertical shaft connections
- Quick and easy to install
- 100% maintenance-free thanks to the combination of steel and synthetic material, as they do not require regular lubrication with oil or grease
- Excellent sliding and wear properties thanks to the use of polyamide 6.6 in the synthetic material bushing
- Resistant to lubricating oils
- Resistant to conventional hydraulic fluids
Optimum operational safety is achieved within a temperature range of -25°C to +80°C. For operating temperatures up to +140°C, a thermally stabilised polyamide coupling sleeve must be used.
