They are manufactured from standard steel to steel alloys, including stainless steel.

Continuous sleeve (types C, CMM, CSPRC, CCS and CSHP)
Continuous gear couplings and flanged sleeve couplings are used in applications where the distances between the shaft ends are large, milling machine motors and floating shaft situations.

Nylon sleeve
Nylon sleeve gear couplings are recognized for their effectiveness in combinations of motors and generators, motors and pumps, and many other light industrial applications.
