Description

Our gear couplings offer a wide variety of designs and models, from standard designs to new special high-speed designs. These crowned tooth couplings come in various configurations, such as C and F hubs, milling machine motor hubs, and shaft and spacer designs.

They are manufactured from standard steel to steel alloys, including stainless steel.

Types and characteristics of gear couplings

They are suitable for various applications, depending on the type of coupling:

Continuous sleeve (types C, CMM, CSPRC, CCS and CSHP)

Continuous gear couplings and flanged sleeve couplings are used in applications where the distances between the shaft ends are large, milling machine motors and floating shaft situations.

  • Simple and economical gear coupling made entirely of steel
  • Load capacities of up to 284,700 Nm
  • Patented BUNA N seal design

Flanged couplings (types F, FRR, FARR, FMM, FFS, FSPCR, FSL FSLX, FSHP, FSHPB, FVX, FLEF, FLA, FLAFR, FLAMM, FLHD, FLHDFR, FA, FAFR and FAMM)

Nylon sleeve gear couplings are recognised for their effectiveness in combinations of motors and generators, motors and pumps, and many other light industrial applications.

  • Wide variety of gear couplings with steel flanges
  • Availability in stock of most standard configurations
  • Patented Vari-Crown® teeth for longer service life
  • Corrosion-resistant bolts; pattern compatible with industry standards

Our technical office department offers advice on choosing the most appropriate coupling for each application. We analyse your needs in order to choose the coupling that best suits them.

We also offer the option of manufacturing customised couplings for more specific or unusual applications, allowing us to adjust them to additional sizes or designs.
