Types and characteristics of KHK gears and racks

KHK gears are subdivided into 80 categories, containing more than 9,000 items. They are manufactured from 11 different types of materials, from chromium molybdenum steel for high-strength and high-wear applications to carbon steel for normal use, as well as corrosion-resistant stainless steel and chemical-resistant, lubricant-free industrial plastic.

KHK has expanded its existing range of 2, 3 and 4 module zippers to include 5 and 6 modules. These zippers are ground on their faces and are available in several models: milled, induction hardened to 55 HRC, ground, and case-hardened to 60 HRC. They are manufactured in straight and helical versions. Every day, more and more companies are placing their trust in KHK for the high quality and precision of its gears and racks.
